About Sam
Sam Alburger is a Senior Producer working across all areas of digital production. He has over eight years of experience in podcast and video production, a topic on which he gives an annual guest lecture to students studying audio production at the University of Pittsburgh. Sam has worked in both newsrooms and nonprofit production teams, where he is tasked with executing multiple projects simultaneously.
Producer and editor of the Mercatus Center’s four main podcasts: Conversations with Tyler, Macro Musings, the Marginal Revolution Podcast, and Ideas of India.
Lead Producer of the Macro Musings podcast, expanding the show into video and increasing social engagement tenfold.
Host, editor, producer, and marketer of the award-winning Snapchat show The Come Up, which doubled its subscriber count to 40k under his direction, reached over one million unique viewers, and garnered more than 30 million total views.
Producer on the award-winning KDKA sports shows airing on Pittsburgh’s local CBS station.
